Your data,
handled with judgment.
How the personal data you provide through this website is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
What data is collected
What you provide when writing in and, if you accept non-essential cookies, what those collect.
What it's used for
To answer your inquiry, manage your newsletter subscription and measure use of the site.
How long it is kept
Only as long as needed for that purpose, as set out below.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure and the other GDPR rights, at any time.
Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through this website is Pilar Verónica Prados Puchades, with tax ID (NIF) 29208043K and professional address at Avda. Blasco Ibáñez 134, #98, 46022 Valencia. Contact for any matter relating to personal data: pilar.prados@dacord.es.
She is the sole controller: she alone determines the purposes and the means of the processing, with no joint controllers. No data protection officer has been appointed, as none of the circumstances set out in article 37 of the GDPR or article 34 of the LOPDGDD applies; data protection queries and the exercise of rights are handled by her directly at the address given above.
What data is collected
This website only collects the data you provide voluntarily through two forms: the contact form (name, organization, email, reason for the inquiry and message) and the newsletter subscription form (email). Neither form carries out profiling: the data is used only to answer your inquiry or manage the subscription.
Beyond the forms, the website may use audience (analytics) and advertising cookies, but they are only set with your prior consent — see the Cookie policy for the detail and for withdrawing that consent at any time. Please do not include confidential information about a specific matter in the contact form; an appropriate channel is set up after the conflict check.
Providing the contact form data is neither a legal nor a contractual obligation, but it is a necessary requirement in order to be able to reply to you: without a name and an email address it is not possible to deal with the inquiry or to carry out the conflict check. In the case of the newsletter, without an email address delivery is not possible.
If at any point data obtained from sources other than you is processed — for example, professional data published by arbitral institutions, law firms or professional networks, in the context of a conflict check — only the categories strictly necessary for that purpose will be processed and you will be informed in accordance with article 14 of the GDPR where applicable.
This website is aimed at professionals and is not intended for children under fourteen. Data relating to minors is not knowingly collected; if you are aware that any has been provided, please write to pilar.prados@dacord.es so that it can be erased.
| Source | Data | Purpose | Legal basis |

| Newsletter | Sending you Dacord Notes articles | Consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a) | |

Purposes and legal basis
Contact form: to respond to your inquiry about appointments, availability, conflict checks or other requests. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Newsletter: to email you new articles from the site’s editorial section. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link included in every email or by writing to pilar.prados@dacord.es.
Analytics and advertising cookies: to measure how the site is used and the results of campaigns. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for storing them on your device, article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE. You may withdraw it at any time through the “Cookie settings” button that closes the cookie policy, which is linked from the footer of every page.
Retention
Contact data is kept while your inquiry is being handled and, where applicable, for as long as any resulting professional relationship lasts. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. After those periods, data is kept blocked only for the periods required by law to address potential liabilities, and is then deleted.
Recipients
Form data is not disclosed to third parties. It is only accessed, as processors and under contract, by the providers needed to operate the website: the web hosting service, the email service and, where applicable, the form-handling and newsletter delivery service.
If any of those providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer takes place under the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses). The same safeguard covers Google, PostHog, Meta and LinkedIn when, with your prior consent, they process analytics or advertising cookie data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States — see the Cookie policy.
Automated decision-making and profiling
No decisions are taken based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you (article 22 of the GDPR).
Advertising cookies, if you accept them, allow the corresponding platforms to segment audiences. That segmentation is carried out by those platforms under their own policies, it produces no legal effects concerning you, and you can prevent it by refusing that category or withdrawing your consent at any time.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To do so, write to pilar.prados@dacord.es stating the right you wish to exercise; you may be asked to verify your identity.
If you consider that the processing does not comply with the applicable rules, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration or loss, taking into account the type of data processed and the associated risks.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be amended to bring it into line with changes in the applicable rules, with new purposes or with changes in the providers used. The applicable version is the one published on this website at any given time, and the date of the last revision appears at the end of the page. If the change affects processing based on your consent, your consent will be sought again.
