Resolving complex cross-border disputes with the foresight of a dealmaker and the precision of a builder.
Check availabilityPilar Prados is a Spanish-qualified lawyer, admitted to the Madrid Bar (ICAM) since 2010. Her career is built around a strategic international axis linking Spain, Brazil, the United States and Latin America. After her LL.M. at Columbia Law School, she gained experience in New York as part of the Chaffetz Lindsey legal team, specializing in ICC and ICDR international arbitrations in the construction sector in Latin America. She then spent three years in Cuatrecasas's São Paulo office, leading arbitration defenses and advising companies and private equity funds on cross-border transactions in Brazil.
After her time in elite legal practice, she moved into technology. As co-founder of Bounsel (a contract management platform) and Maistik (an artificial Intelligence development studio), she knows first-hand how a business really works: how it is financed, how it contracts, and how software and AI are built. That entrepreneurial experience gives her a unique competitive advantage in unpacking the technical complexity of technology disputes.
Today, free of executive duties and of the conflicts of interest that come with large firms, her independent practice is strictly set up to accept appointments as a neutral in dispute resolution.
